UPINHF is a non-stock, non-profit healthcare-centered organization corporation registered under the laws of the State of California. It is an educational, charitable and public benefit entity, granted tax-exempt status under Sec. 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and the California Revenue and Taxation Code (R&TC), Sec. 2730d(c)(1). UPINHF is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a CEU provider. The Organization publishes The International Forum for Nursing and Healthcare (IFNAH), our official journal for nursing and healthcare practice, education and research. The peer-reviewed publication, formerly called “The Nursing Journal” is published annually and is officially assigned ISSN 2637-4161 by the Library of Congress. UPINHF publishes a Quarterly news brief, The Forum. We are a chapter of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association and are recognized as a UP Alumni organization by the UP Board of Regents
Qualifications: A graduate of the following University of the Philippines Colleges or Programs may apply: Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Hygiene and Public Health, Nutrition, Bioethics, Genetic Counseling, Medical Anthropology, Health Informatics, and other health science related degrees
Be an associate life member: if you are a family member of a life member or if you are sponsored by a life member.
How to Apply:
1) Fill out the membership form on this page,
2) Pay the membership fee of $ 100.00 (the membership fee is the same for life member and associate member.)
3) Submit online or mail, and
4) Receive confirmation from UPINHF.
